Artist's Comments

This is one of my first Watercolour paintings. The finger is quite dodgy looking but I was very proud of myself when i had finished the painting. Before that I had also never painted onto canvas before. I handed this in with my Visual Arts diary in 2005.

Bert McCracken. I'm not sure if there is a resemblance but it's suppose to be a painting of him. I was reading an article about him in Kerrang and so he became my first test subject.

I honestly could tell this was Bert McCracken just by looking at it. I think you did a wonderful job, especially with the colors.

Being a HUGE fan of The Used, I'd have to say it resembles Bert McCracken very much.
You did a great job capturing him.

It's a picture perfect evening and I'm staring down the sun...

I'm so happy! That wonky finger i drew made me think maybe the whole painting is out of wack.. but its not!

Marilyn Manson and David Mack inspire me alot when it comes to watercolour.
Don't want to sound like a complete geek.. but Check out D. Macks Kabuki Comics.

This is lovely! I like the simplicity of it.

The smell of meat and blood clouds up the condo until I don't notice it any more. And later my macabre joy sours and I'm weeping for myself, unable to find any solace in any of this, crying out, sobbing, "I just want to be loved."
